Takashi Yamato est un jeune garçon qui s’est toujours montré intéressé par l’archéologie. Un jour, alors qu’il admire une pièce ancienne dans un musée, un vieil historien apparaît et lui prédit un avenir tumultueux. Un peu plus tard, un homme se proclamant ami de son défunt père l’entraîne dans à la recherche d’informations pouvant expliquer sa mort brutale. La découverte de l’existence de Susanoh oh, dieu des ténèbres, n’est plus très loin…
