In this 1st issues, we have Loki using the Hulk, by putting mental projections of dangers that are not really there, to cause major damage to public property. He is doing this to try to lure Thor into a brawl with the Hulk. However, Rick Jones and his Teen Brigade send out distress call to the FF, which Loki blocks from them. Then fate sees that the transmission is then received by several other heroes including Thor, Iron Man, Ant-man, and the Wasp.
The four set out to stop the Hulk, and Thor quickly realizes who is behind the whole mess. While he tries to stop Loki in Asgard, the other heroes face the Hulk.

L'été 1963 a vu la naissance de deux équipes très différentes des 4 Fantastiques, les héros qui ont marqué la naissance de l'univers Marvel tel que nous le connaissons. Les F.F. sont une famille, les X-Men sont les élèves d'un établissement pas comme les autres et les Avengers peuvent être vus comme l'équivalent de la Justice League de la Distinguée Concurrence puisqu'il s'agit de la réunion...
